FUN EXPERIENCE IN CREATE FESTIVAL PENANG

It's my pleasure to join CREATE - Malaysia's First Crowd Creation Festival in Penang few weeks back.

I can't believe that they transformed Hin Bus Depot Art Center to a private party venue courtesy of CREATE!

Everything is so amazing despite the rain that came for a little while during the night time.

ABOUT CREATE FESTIVAL

What comes to you mind when you hear the word CREATE?

For me, it's THINK, EXPERIENCE & INSPIRE! 

It's always a great thing to explore new things and meeting new peoples!

This is what exactly this art festival is about. Gathering people together and create new experiences together.

There are a variety of activities set for the night to challenge guests to think beyond the conventional and walk away with new inspirations. It’s truly an eye opener I must say!

#MASHTAG WALL

Build your own inspirational quote by using the word blocks on this wall!

This activity encouraged many people to challenge their creativity using blocks of words featuring 

everything from the event hashtags and also emoticons! 

This sentence was one of my favorite, and it was also one the winners of the night.

EVERY JOURNEY IS BEAUTIFUL WITH US.

CROWD-IN-MOTION
There were so many participants in this challenge! 
All you need is, get 4 friends to cycle on stationary bikes to power up a dynamo.

You can also get strangers to join in the fun together with you. 

This fun section rewards successful team with mystery prizes as well as gaining new friendships.

COLLABO-ART WALL

I love this wall so much! The idea of the collabo-art wall were contributed by Koh Yung Shen
 (Founder of Swagger Salon) and DJ/Producer Ramsey Westwood into a key feature of the festival.
They both drew so many iconic creation inside this wall like, their favourites memories like hanging out in Komtar,  Penang famous local food, Penang bridge, The Swagger Saloon (LANSI's flagship store in Penang) and etc.
You can see how everyone unleash their creativity here onto a giant colouring wall and create a master piece together!

 CREATE STAGE-OF-THE-NIGHT

The most anticipating moment of the night! Featuring great performances by The Sam Willows, 

and famous local artistes like, Paperplane Persuits, Talitha Tan 

and DJs Ramsey Westwood, Alexis G to keep us entertained throughout the whole night.

I miss the moment of everyone clapped and danced along to the music. 
Sing along with the artist and dance together! Music brings people together!
